My fiction appeared in more podcasts than anything else, which was a first. One story appeared in print for the third time, also a record for me. My tales touched on sabotage, murder, demons (of course), ghosts, and celestial mysteries. Without further ado, here’s all my new fiction published in the past year:
- “The Last Year of Champagne” (Sudden Fictions) – Jan 2024
- “Harry, the Ice Man” (Sudden Fictions) – Feb 2024
- “The Mystery Girl of Doheny Boulevard” (Sudden Fictions) – Mar 2024
- “Small Pleasures” on Calliope Stories (interactive) – May 2024
- “There are Worse Travel Companions” (Sudden Fictions) – Jun 2024
- “On the Graveyard Shift at Mountain View Memorial” (Sudden Fictions) – Oct 2024
- “Redemption in a Chocolate Box” (Sudden Fictions) – Aug 2024
- “Pulling up the Moon” (Stupefying Stories Showcase) – Sep 2024
- “Never Leave the House Without Your Purse” (Sudden Fictions) – Dec 2024
Most of these are freely available, so go for it. I’m particularly happy with “Pulling up the Moon,” which came out of Worldcon and cold medication.
Enjoy!
(And if you wanted to nominate anything for some sort of award, I wouldn’t say no.)
